Locations Where the 11th US Infantry Fought and Served

This section of the Regiment’s Historical Images contains mostly Civil War-era photographs and drawings that capture many of the locations and actions where regiment fought, camped, and passed through on its four-year sojourn during the War Between the States. Included are images of a number of the vessels on which the regiment, or portions thereof, sailed between Virginia, New York, and Maryland en route to, and from, various sideshow missions.
